GCPN is leading a two-day conference to Rio March 24-March 4, 2026
- Friday night-Saturday conference at the beachfront hotel Atlantico Sul in Recreio Beach, Rio de Janeiro
- visiting with pastors and parnters in Rio, Saquarema, Recreio, Santa Cruz
- worship in Universitaria, worship in Santa Cruz
- hosting pastor’s and wives appreciation banquets in Barra da Tijuca
- Tourist Day, Churrascaria, Pão de Açúcar (cable car), Copacabana

- That our witness will be Spirit-filled, bold, and that many kids, families, and households will come to trust in Jesus as Lord.
- That our church planting partners with Celebration Church in Recreio, Universitaria, Santa Cruz, and Saquarema will be encouraged and strengthened
- That the Lord will provide volunteers / team members
- That the Lord will provide financially
- That the Lord will watch over our travels and our families while we are gone
PLEASE COME WITH US!
We are praying for a few couples or a few adults / students to come along with us.
- Ministry: Teaching / preaching; sharing your testimony; encouraging pastors and leaders and their wives through visiting, and hospitality; helping with media.
- Dates: (7 days) | Depart from TIA February 24 – Tuesday mid-afternoon -> Return to TIA March4, 2026 – Wednesday mid-morning.
- Docs: Valid passport (not to expire within six months of arrival)
- Visa: online form to be completed prior to travel (GCP can take care of this for you)
- Team: two-to-four students / adults
- Housing: Air BnB homes / condos (two per room), multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and beds
- seven nights in Rio Wed-Mon); two nights on a plane
- Transportation: Rental cars w/ local pastors serving as drivers / guides.
- Cost — On your own for airfare, plus $1,000 donation to Great Commission Partnerships any time prior to travel (10 days all-inclusive: housing, meals, transportation). | No deposit required. Flight itinerary to be posted soon.
- Flights — We are booked on Delta flying Tampa (TPA) departs 4:56 p.m. to Atlanta to Rio arrive 8:20 a.m. (GIG). Return flight is Delta depart GIG 9:30 p.m. through ATL to TPA arrive 8:57 a.m.

Scholarships and fundraising: Students and adults are encouraged to raise the funds they need, and even consider donating surplus funds so that we can offer more scholarship dollars to students who come up short of raising the total amount. Scholarships can be offered / applied to amount that a student might come up short. Some scholarships can be available for up to half the total cost of the trip or a max $1,250, as those funds are available.

Currency: US credit and debit cards are accepted everywhere in Rio.

- Ministry: Indoor / outdoor, VBS / sports camps; block party; pastor’s and wives barbecue & banquet.
- Dates: (10 days) | Depart from TIA July 19 – Sunday mid-afternoon -> Return to TIA July 29 – Wednesday mid-day.

Docs: Valid passport (not to expire within six months), and for vaccinated travelers, a simple online visa application that is completed and printed prior to travel (we will provide the link to participants).
Location: Far West, Province No. 7 (Mahandranagar) four nights; Kathmandu, four nights
Dates: September 27, 2026, departs Sunday mid-afternoon (overnight flight); Depart Wednesday night (overnight flight) to return to Tampa Thursday, October 8, 2026 mid-day
Investment: On your own for airfare ($1,500 +/-), plus $1,000+/- donation to GCP for transportation, housing, meals.
Deadline: Mid-September. Online Visa application must be completed within the two weeks prior to travel

Who: 1-3 adults (students O.K.)
Summary: GCP leads a pastors conference in the Far-West of Nepal, where the main ministry is teaching and preaching. Those gifted in these areas will have multiple opportunities to teach / preach. Others can come and share their testimonies; encourage pastors and their wives and their kids; help with hospitality; and with media. We are partnering with the Global Mission Nepal and the Baptist Convention of Nepal, which are led by our U.S.-based, SBC partner Dr. Dan Pokharel.
Price is all-inclusive. We stay in local hotels. Transportation is provided by our local pastors, or Uber.
