God pulled him out a garbage can, literally. He was just a new-born when the Lord used a pastor / missionary and his wife to rescue him, and to adopt him as their own. His name is Lielson Penido, and his very life is a picture of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
And, he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Brazilian-born, he grew up on the mission fields of Ecuador, finished school in the US and served later with the IMB as a missionary in Spain and Portugal.
More recently he is a church planter, who also serves as a chaplain and a catalyst with the Tampa Bay Baptist Association.
And we are blessed to call him friend, and to have him as our guest on this episode.
