ENCOURAGING PASTORS IN NEPAL – With our partner, Pastor Dan Pokharel of Global Mission Nepal, our team is organizing, hosting and funding a pastor’s conference for 100 church planters from across the entire country.
We have invited each pastor, along with his wife and kids, to an all-expenses paid retreat in the centrally-located city of Pokhara from October 19-21, 2021.
SUPPORTING THE VISION – Can you help us come alongside Pastor Dan’s vision to win Nepal for Christ through church planting? In a country that only received the Gospel in 1951, and is 98+ percent Hindu-Buddhist / Non-Christian, the Gospel is still advancing in unprecedented ways. Right now. Churches are rising up mostly unhindered by the Hindu state-govenment.
PRAYING WITH US – Will you pray with us for such a time as this, that the Lord will use this conference to build up, refresh and encourage church planters and their wives in their marriages; in their churches; and as leaders in Global Mission Nepal’s emerging church planting network of churches.
GIVING FINANCIALLY – This will be a first-of-its-kind event for Pastor Dan and his team. And you can help. For just $150 per couple we can offer everything for free—for 100 couples, for four days / three nights—including resort accommodations, meals, gifts, and materials.
That translates to a total of $15K that we are asking God to raise up to cover the cost of the entire event. Praise God, we have already received two gifts of $2,500 each from two very special partners. Would you, or your church, be willing to sponsor one or more couples?

MEET OUR PARTNER – A modern-day Apostle Paul for Nepal (at least as close as we have met), Pastor Dan Pokharel grew up Hindu in Kathmandu, Nepal. He followed Christ miraculously in his early twenties and has been planting churches in Dallas, Boston / New England, Charlotte, and Nepal ever since—as pastor, a full-time catalyst with the North American Mission Board of the SBC, and as President of Global Mission Nepal (globalmissionnepal.org), now based in Charlotte, NC. Global Mission Nepal has planted more than 100 chuches in Nepal since it began in 2013. Pastor Dan’s vision is to plant 4,000 churches in Nepal by 2030.
