Supporting Church Planters Around the World
You are invited to be a part of Great Commission Partnership’s Fifth Annual Missions Banquet and Fundraising Dinner on November 8, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at South Tampa Fellowship (Ballast Point). Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
This is our once-a-year dinner event that supports church planters and their families in Tampa, Boston, Brazil, Nepal, the Caribbean, and our newest missionary partner in London. By God’s grace, GCP is making a difference for pastors and new churches in places where our U.S. dollar is multiplied greatly, sometimes more than five-to-one.
We are grateful that you can come and learn more. It is sure to be a great night looking at God’s mission in and around the world, and our part in it.

We know you will be blessed to hear from our guest preacher, our partner, Pastor Daniel Pokharel, MDiv, ThM. Daniel is a missionary who was born in Nepal, and grew up as a church planter’s kid in Tennessee, Kentucky, Dallas-Fort Worth, and in Boston. Since, he has moved to Charlotte, NC, where he is currently pastor of Global Mission Nepali Church in the Matthews / Mint Hill area.
We are excited to have him come and share with us how cross-cultural church planters are reaching young, first and second-generation immigrants all over the U.S.; and how our partnership is making an impact with his church and with his father’s church planting ministry, Global Mission Nepal.
We know you will also be blessed to hear from our special musical guest, Pastor Lielson Penido, a local pastor and leader with the Tampa Bay Baptist Association. Pastor Lielson will lead us in a few songs, including one of his favorite Christmas carols. So bring your best singing voice and get ready to have a great time.

For the second year in a row, we are blessed to have Bart Azzarelli of Dallas 1 Construction and Development as our emcee. Bart and his wife, Janice, are incredible friends and supporters of GCP, and we are super-excited to have Bart and his unique energy and zeal for Christ on our schedule for the evening.
- We will have Pastor Lester Acosta presenting a great opportunity for us to help our partners in the Caribbean.
- We will hear via video from the Celebration Church Planting Network in Boston and in Brazil; and from Pastor Hilario Polanco, a missionary to kids and families in Saquarema, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
- We will present a special opportunity again this year to provide Christmas gifts for the kids and families of our church planters in Brazil and Nepal.
- I will be sharing our ministry report, and making a big announcement about new partnerships in Rio and in London.
- Special thanks to our friends and supporters at our host-church, South Tampa Fellowship. And, thank you to our favorite chef and caterer, Neil Ramlal of Neil’s Catering.
Please fill out the form below to let us know who will be attending with you. We will follow up with you by email.
Thank you again. God bless.
