Supporting Church Planters Around the World
You are invited to be a part of Great Commission Partnership’s Fourth Annual Missions Banquet and Fundraising Dinner on November 8, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at South Tampa Fellowship (Ballast Point). Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
This is our once-a-year dinner event that supports church planters and their families in Tampa, Boston, Brazil, Nepal, and the Caribbean. By God’s grace, GCP is making a difference for pastors and new churches in places where our U.S. dollar is multiplied greatly, sometimes more than five-to-one.
We are grateful that you can come and learn more. It is sure to be a great night looking at God’s mission in and around the world, and our part in it.
We know you will be blessed to hear from our keynote speaker, our friend and partner, Dr. Dan Pokharel, a native of Nepal, a church planter and the Executive Director of Global Mission Nepal (501c3) based in Charlotte, NC. Pastor Dan has led his team to grow to more than 160 churches across Nepal since 2013.
We will also hear from Pastor Santosh Sunam, leader of Global Mission Nepal’s ministry in the Far West, Province No. 7 of Nepal. Pastor Santosh has traveled all the way from Nepal to be with us, so we look forward to greeting him and learning about all of the ways GCP is helping in that part of the world.
Come and hear from Pastor Hilario Polanco, a missionary to kids and families in Saquarema, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Pastor Hilario is reaching more than 160 kids and their families every year through a before-school / after-school ministry called Voando Alto. Pastor Hilario will share a report on a great year, and how GCP is making a difference there in Brazil.
We know you will also be blessed to hear from our special musical guest, Jeremy Vanderloop, a local business leader, gifted worship leader, and recording artist. Jeremy will lead us in a few songs, including one of his favorite Christmas carols. So bring your best singing voice and get ready to have a great time.
For the first time, we will all be blessed to have Bart Azzarelli of Dallas 1 Construction and Development as our emcee. Bart and his wife, Janice, are incredible friends and supporters of GCP, and we are super-excited to add Bart and his unique energy and zeal for Christ to our schedule for the evening.
- We will have Pastor Lester Acosta presenting a great opportunity for us to help our partners in Cuba.
- We will hear via video from the Celebration Church Planting Network in Boston and in Brazil.
- We will have Jeffrey Ramey from RameyWorx bringing special, laser-engraved Christmas gifts (with all proceeds going the families of our church planters for Christmas gifts for their kids).
- I will be sharing a brief ministry report, and making a big announcement about a new ministry we are taking to our pastors in Rio in February, 2025. Maybe you will come with us!
- Thank you to our friends and supporters at our host-church, South Tampa Fellowship. And, thank you to our favorite chef and caterer, Neil Ramlal of Neil’s Catering.
Please fill out the form below to let us know who will be attending with you. We will follow up with you by email.
Thank you again. God bless.
