Our partnership with Pastor Lester is changing lives for Jesus; supporting pastors, evangelizing natives, and connecting them to local churches

Pastor Lester serves our organization and churches in the U.S. as a key liaison for missions and partnerships with Baptist churches in the Caribbean. With Pastor Lester’s help, our ministry has been able to partner closely with two congregations in particular. Please pray for Pastor Luis, and for Pastor F and for their churches.

Great Commission Partnerships is working:

  1. to lead evangelistic mission trips aimed at connecting people to Jesus and to a local church in their neighborhood
  2. to provide pastoral training, discipleship training and resources to local pastors and congregations
  3. to provide funding for church construction / renovation projects
  4. to provide training and funding for micro-businesses to catalyze sustainable income streams for churches.

Pastor Lester Acosta is a Caribbean native who served the Eastern Baptist Convention as pastor / leader in the development of youth programs, church planting and pastor support. Lester lives now in Tampa with his wife, Raquel, and daughter, Evelyn.
